The Prince and the Frog

So you want a man that is God-fearing ,handsome, ambitious ,gentle, kind ,romantic, cooks, cleans…the list goes on. You basically want prince charming with a certified stamp of approval from God, nothing wrong with that, in fact ladies we should aim high in our expectations in a man….BUT is it fair to expect a prince charming from God when you are a frog????....YES you heard right, a frog. So many ladies want this perfect God fearing man, but yet we are not even close enough to be the woman he needs. We are so focused in our prayers to find a Mr right, we neglect the fact that  maybe the reason why we are still single and waiting is because Mr right is waiting for GOD to tell him that YOU are ready.

Sometimes we are not waiting for our Boaz , our Boaz is waiting for us. We want God fearing men yet we are not God fearing women, we do not seek the father’s face, we do not have a gentle humble spirit, we are not even close to becoming the proverbs 31 women I am sure he is praying for. Ladies you CANNOT expect a Boaz when you are NOT a Ruth. Yes we are precious to God, but guess what?.... God’s sons are precious to Him too and He will not let his son marry a woman that is basically a Delilah…..

What I am trying to say ladies?... YOU may be the sole reason why you are not meeting the man God has for you. Maybe God wants you to reconnect with Him again, to become the woman your future husband is praying for, but in our stubborn and sometimes desperate pursuit of a “perfect” husband we neglect our own growth and do not position ourselves for the blessing of matrimony.

Maybe it’s time to take a break from focusing all your energy and prayer in finding the right husband and start praying for God to mold you into a God fearing woman with purpose and Mr Right-for-you might just show up when you least expect it.
