Faith Buddies

We all have friends, acquaintances and random people we know in passing and than you have faith buddies.These are the people that keep you accountable and God centered.They are your friends,family and spiritual leaders all rolled into one.They are the people you laugh,cry,dream,hope with.They are a special breed of friends that grow so close to your heart that they are almost extensions of you.

Our Christian journey's is not a lone one,God places people in our lives that pick us up when we fall down,that encourage us to hold on and keep the faith when we want to quit.God made us relational beings therefore He places people in our lives that we can be in relation with.
Faith buddies are important because unlike wordly friends and family they understand the challenges you face as a christian,as they face the same challenges as well.

God blessed me tremendously,because the special four special ladies in my life have walked a special journey with me.We where all in the world together,we partied and drank together,we lived HARD!!Not many people are fortunate to say that the same friends they took over the clubs with is the same friends they are populating heaven with.

Galatians 6:1-2 " Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted. Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ."

These girls know the very best of me,but also the very worst.I do not have to hide under false pretense of holiness with them.When I fall and fail they do not walk or snarl at me in judgement,but they do not condone my actions either.They lift me up through love and prayer.I can not imagine prayers I may not have know about, that they prayed on my behalf.They inspire me to seek God more and to be better.

Don't mistake us for a bunch of holier-than-thou crowd,we have our flaws and challenges,but we strive to seek God everyday.And when it comes to a good party I sure know who to go to.We have so much fun together in a way God will approve of.

I pray that God will place people in your lives that you can be completely honest with,that know your struggles and successes and that pray for you earnestly.

To my faith buddies Erica, Kundai, Mewawa(Meme) and Poche you guys are an inspiration and blessing to me,I couldn't have asked a better group of girls to walk this journey of faith with me.
